The first mobile device using Windows Embedded Handheld is the Motorola ES400. Motorola ES400 belongs to a class of EDA-devices (Enterprise Digital Assistant) or industrial communicators. The device can be used in the rain, as well as extreme high and low temperatures, with the help of the user will always stay in touch with colleagues and have access to a database company. Communicator supports CDMA and GSM, which allows the use in all corners of the globe.
