Alaska Ice Festival

Ice Alaska is one of the largest annual ice art competitions and exhibitions in the world, for the 21st year.The World Ice Art Championships have grown to a month-long event involving more than 70 teams from all over the world.The competitions and the accompanying Kids Park attract more than 100 ice artists and approximately 45,000 visitors from Alaska and all over the world.It was 36 degrees below zero this past weekend 10/1/2009.No wonder they can make such beautiful sculptures!
